Welcome to Camillo Valley Alpacas

Camillo Valley Alpacas was a dream in search of a home until October, 2004. Camillo Valley is a small part of a very large farm in King George, Virginia. For many years the local winemaster, who used to live next door, used the acreage we now own as a small vineyard for his Camillo Vineyard wines, hence the grape motif in our banner. To find out what possessed an accomplished jack-of-all-trades, master HVAC technician and a 50 something year old school teacher to sell their waterfront home in Maryland, buy acreage in Virginia, and begin raising these delightful animals (talk about the psychological effects of menopause!!!), visit OUR ADVENTURE. Our farm will strive to:

  • always put our alpacas and their welfare first.
  • positively impact the alpaca industry through honest relations with all alpaca organizations, merchants, and clientele.
  • offer our best possible advice and guidance to our clients, seeking assistance whenever necessary so they will feel confident we have sold them more than just animals; we have sold them a resource for life
  • attend seminars and training, keep current memberships in recognized alpaca organizations and continue our own education so that we can provide others with valuable input.
